Being Single

After a lot of thought resulting from the tweaks/insults from our friends & particularly Ex Red Ranger , Mootai kannan - I will say abt a recent incident which reveals ONE of their rough side of being committed & which they conveniently hide to poke us.

I was with one of my friend over the last weekend for a movie… we enter the hall and we get noticed by the entire public – his WIFE is really the reason for him being a "head turner" that day. The reason being the silence in the Hall is broken by his unexpectedly cool mobile tone that goes on the moment keeps his foot inside the Theatre - this call will be termed as an “You are late for a status update”.

After 20 minutes he gets another call, asking when the Film is gonna end. (we just have finished seeing the name of the director displayed in the screen)

Another 30 minutes pass by – the next questions was easy to guess –
(1) When would the interval be? (Poor girl she hasn’t watched any movies until now :) )
(2) Call me during the interval

Just before 10 minutes of the Interval – “why didn’t you call me during the interval??” Poor guy explained the first half of the story and at the end it was really interval from the “Call”.

We had some snacks and the second half had more updates where she is, when she is expected to be home, update on when the film would finish etc etc…

Once the film really finished we headed over for a fag (him) and shared all those old memories(girls included in them) – discussed something which we didn’t share since our last meeting… some secrets/discussions are shared at its best with some friends…. Never felt them as a secret when we talk abt it.

The other gender always have this humour sense which they do it with a innocent, mystical style. This often gets us foxed over if they are really smart or just unaware of the happenings...
This was revealed again at his home – his wife reached home along with their kid after being out since morning (remember we met only during the late noon we were stay put at our resp homes). She does her regular chores & once settled down on the couch – looks at her husband with a puzzled & innocent look and says “che, bcoz of you the whole weekend is wasted”….

Do I need to say more ………….. Red Ranger/Mootai kannan we also know other stories of you !!!!
